Science is under threat in contemporary society for two reasons: Increasingly science is being commercialised and politicised reducing it to a tradeable commodity. In addition post-modern thinking asserts there is no absolute truth and that all opinions are equally valid irresepective of evidence. Collectively these trends are undermining the value and importance of science. The purpose of science is being reduced to serving a cause rather than to discover the truth. Welcome to my personal website – this is my small effort to challenge this threat.
